About me
Caitlin Sims is a dedicated Arizona native from Maryvale whose educational philosophy emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and empowering educators to inspire lifelong learning and instill core values in students. She prioritizes positive, data-driven decision-making and values listening to all stakeholder voices. Caitlin brings a strong foundation in character education and trauma-informed practices to her leadership approach, which is rooted in servant and transformational leadership principles and a collaborative coaching style.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Ottawa University Arizona, along with Master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Leadership. Her professional experience includes serving as Director of Schools in Arizona, a national Leadership and Change Consultant Coach, and both Turnaround and Founding Principal roles within the state. Additionally, she has served as a District Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction Specialist at the national level. A certified TBRI Trauma Practitioner through Texas Christian University, Caitlin has also completed the Principal Leadership Academy at Relay Graduate School of Education and has worked as an AVID Administrator nationally. Caitlin’s classroom teaching experience spans 2nd, 5th, and Middle School levels in Arizona.
